Slowly But Surely

22 07 2010

Third week into the survey and the numbers are coming in slowly but surely. Biggest news so far is that it’s had its first Scottish entry which I’m happy about, it was looking a little bit bare there. Beyond that, the general feel of the answers is interesting, more the percentages than what they say.

One thing to discuss is the need for education, the education of key members of society, religious leaders, but also those very people with the diagnosis. Why? Many people are being left blind to all the great services which are available from places such as Mind and MDF. I know from personal experience that I would have approached such organisations for assistance way before I did if I had been properly informed. Hopefully the results of the survey will keep backing this up but we’ll see.
